Sesame Oil Chicken

SESAME OIL CHICKEN
Recipe:Rasa Malaysia

2 tablespoons sesame oil
2-3 inches knob of ginger, peeled and cut into thin strips
12 oz chicken, cut into pieces
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 cup water
3 dashes ground white pepper

Heat up a skillet or wok over high heat and add the sesame oil. When the oil is fully heated, add the ginger strips and stir-fry until light brown or aromatic. Add the chicken and stir-fry for about 10-15 seconds before adding the soy sauce and ground white pepper. Add the water and do a few quick stirs. Cover the skillet or wok with the lid and turn the heat to low heat and let the chicken cook for about 10 minutes or until the sauce thickens and the meat becomes tender. Dish out and serve immediately.
Cook’s Note:
If the sauce dries up, add more water and cook until the chicken becomes tender. You may use bone-in chicken legs or thighs to make this dish. Just chop the chicken into pieces.

Sup Ikan Merah yang sedap dan mudah

Hi all, ni menu hari wesak minggu lepas. Dalam fridge ada ikan merah yang I beli about 2 weeks back ...  err ... terus teringat moment terjatuh tergolek dog time dekat kedai makan sebelah pasar masa nak melangkah keluar kedai tu nak ke pasar. Terkejut pon ada sbb xsangka nak jatuh ... tengah blur memikir cemana leh jatuh, ada pulak sorang lelaki jatuh beberapa langkah je depan I.
Antara menu yang sedap dimasak dengan ikan merah adalah sup. Husband pulak memang suka lauk berkuah clear or soup macam ni. Teringat xpuas makan kat Hard Wood Cafe Seremban hari tu sebab ambil macam-macam lauk ;), tu yang rasa nak masak pulak. 
Lauk ni makan kat kedai, ambil sepotong ekor je pun dah cecah RM28. Puas hati lagi masak kat rumah, bebas ajinomoto ... kan.

Good morning peeps ... post holiday blues pepagi ni. Whenever I rasa I need a booster or motivation to work I memang suka singgah beli kopi at this coffee shop >> The Optimist(an independently run business) LRT Ampang ni. Their friendly staff and Quote-of-the-day stickers on the coffee cups which vary from customer to customer always gives good vibes to start my day. Selebihnya tawakkaltu alallah. 
Ok, back to recipe yang I nak share hari ni. It's my first time merasa & buat. I am not so sure where it originates, my sister kata ni kuih terengganu but when I shared the pic dlm group whatsapp kawan sekolah, dia kata ni kuih kampung dia, kelate ;) Tanya laki, dia kata xpernah tengok & xpernah makan pulak ...  
As you can see dalam gambar kat atas tu, tepung bunga ni texture dia macam dodol, boleh tarik-tarik sebab penggunaan tepung pulut. Rasanya pulak ada ira…

Eggless Moist Banana Brownies

Aihh ... gambar brownies ni xclear pulak ... snap in a rush macam ni la hasilnya. Brownies ni sedap sangat-sangat to my taste bud. I'm so glad that I tried out this delicious, soft, moist & chocolatey banana brownies. The banana taste is not overpowering the chocolate ... everything well balance, the sweetness, texture & taste. I cuma terkilan baru sekarang I jumpa resepi Kak Fida ni ... ehehe. Habis puji dah ni ... haha ... I will definitely buat lagi & lagi. 
EGGLESS MOIST BANANA BROWNIES

BAHAN A:
100 g coklat masakan
75 g mentega

BAHAN B:
200 g pisang lecek
60 g gula perang
1/4 sk garam
1 sk esen vanilla

BAHAN C:
75 g tepung gandum
2 sb serbuk koko
1/2 sk baking soda
1/2 sk baking powder
